Unlike the printed page web pages have a greater flexibility in both audience and delivery. With proper coding a single web page can be displayed on a monitor via a web browser, projected onto a screen, printed onto paper, and listened to. Same page, same information, all presented differently for each media.

Internet media is also free of distribution limitations. Whereas the printed word is limited by press runs, paper and shipping costs, a web page is free to roam the Earth to any computer that is capable of requesting it.

Of course, all of that largely depends upon a discipline towards what works, a sensitivity toward user interactivity, and an understanding of searchability all while meeting the needs of your business.
